Planned power outages scheduled across parts of Santiago on Friday (17 April)

As per reports, electricity distributor Enel has announced a series of scheduled power supply interruptions across specific sectors of 11 comunas in the Región Metropolitana of Santiago on Friday (17 April). According to the company, the interruptions are required for maintenance and improvement works on the electrical network in the affected areas and have been announced in advance to allow residents and businesses to plan accordingly.

• In Colina, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 0930 hours to 1530 hours local time (1230 hours to 1830 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In Lo Barnechea, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 1130 hours to 1530 hours local time (1430 hours to 1830 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In Las Condes, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 1200 hours to 1330 hours local time (1500 hours to 1630 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In Peñalolén, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 1100 hours to 1700 hours local time (1400 hours to 2000 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In Ñuñoa, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 1030 hours to 1630 hours local time (1330 hours to 1930 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In Santiago, two separate scheduled power interruptions are expected on Friday (17 April): the first from 1030 hours to 1630 hours local time (1330 hours to 1930 hours UTC), and the second from 0930 hours to 1530 hours local time (1230 hours to 1830 hours UTC), affecting distinct sectors of the comuna.
• In San Joaquín, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 1000 hours to 1600 hours local time (1300 hours to 1900 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In San Ramón, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 1000 hours to 1700 hours local time (1300 hours to 2000 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In Quinta Normal, two separate scheduled power interruptions are expected on Friday (17 April): the first from 0900 hours to 1700 hours local time (1200 hours to 2000 hours UTC), and the second from 0930 hours to 1530 hours local time (1230 hours to 1830 hours UTC), affecting distinct sectors of the comuna.
• In Estación Central, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 0930 hours to 1430 hours local time (1230 hours to 1730 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
• In Maipú, a scheduled power interruption is expected from 1000 hours to 1500 hours local time (1300 hours to 1800 hours UTC) on Friday (17 April).
