As per reports, a brief power outage has been planned for part of Bristol, Virginia on Tuesday (25 March) afternoon. The planned outage will take place between 1300 hours (local time) and 1400 hours (local time). The outage will affect Flame Leaf Drive, Old Dominion Road and the Lowry Hills subdivision.
According to the Bristol Virginia Utilities (BVU) Authority, the outage is scheduled so that crews can de-energize an overhead span that crosses Interstate 81 so the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) can place sound barriers on the north shoulder of the interstate.
