As per reports, the Jordan Traffic Department announced a partial closure of the 8th Bridge in both directions from 0100 hours to 0600 hours local time (2200 hours UTC on 23 October to 0300 hours UTC on 24 October) on Friday (24 October), to carry out maintenance work.
First Lieutenant Duaa Al-Habahbeh confirmed that the closure may affect both directions during the stated hours.
