As per reports, the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) issued yellow and orange heatwave warnings for parts of Mexico City on Wednesday (22 May).
• Yellow weather warning for high temperatures ranging between 28 – 30 degrees Celsius will be in effect from 1300 hours to 1800 hours (local time) in Cuajimalpa, Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta and Tlalpan.
• Orange weather warning for high temperatures ranging between 31 – 33 degrees Celsius will be in effect from 1300 hours to 1800 hours (local time) in Azcapotzalco, Álvaro Obregón, Benito Juárez, Coyoacán, Cuauhtémoc, Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco, Iztapalapa, Miguel Hidalgo, Tláhuac, Venustiano Carranza and Xochimilco.
