As per reports, nursing and other trade unions including E tū, the Public Service Association (PSA), New Zealand Nurses Organisation Tōpūtanga Tapuhi Kaitiaki o Aotearoa (NZNO) have scheduled public rallies invoking Government to fully fund a pay equity settlement; across New Zealand on Monday (01 July).

• Public rallies will be organised across the country in Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin, and Invercargill.
• The protest will be joined by nursing and care workers including people working in disability support, aged residential care, home support, and mental health and addictions support.
• The details for the rallies are as follows:Auckland: 1400 hours at Victoria Park, Auckland CBD; Hamilton: 1330 hours at PSA office – 489 Anglesea street; New Plymouth: 1500 hours at the new E tū office: 139 Powderham street, New Plymouth Central; Palmerston North: 1200 hours at The Square/Te Marae o Hine (next to The Verdict cafe); Wellington: 1330 hours at Heretaunga Boating Club, 138 The Esplanade, Petone;Nelson: 1330 hours at Nelson City Council – 110 Trafalgar Street; Christchurch: 1330 hours at Hornby Club, 17 Carmen Road, Hornby; Timaru: 1330 hours at the corner of Wai-Iti Road and Evans Street; Dunedin: 1200 hours outside Median Mall, 285 George Street; Invercargill: 1345 hours at E tū office, 33 Don street.
