As per reports, nurses from three wards at Christchurch Hospital, Central Christchurch, will strike from 1400 to 1600 hours (local time) on Friday (15 August) to protest against chronic staffing shortages.

The Nurses Organisation (NZNO) stated that members from theatre, post-anaesthetic care and radiology will participate in the strike.
