As per reports, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced the commencement of expansion joint repair work on the Jambhulwadi bridge along the Pune-Satara lane on the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway. Scheduled to take place from Thursday (04 January) to 20 January, the repair work aims to enhance the structural integrity of the bridge.
During this period, one of the three lanes leading to Satara on the Jambhulwadi bridge will be temporarily closed. Traffic heading towards Satara will be redirected through the remaining two lanes. The temporary closure is part of the maintenance activities to ensure the safety and stability of the bridge.
