As per reports, severe thunderstorms occurred during the overnight hours on Thursday (05 June), in the Czech Republic, resulting in nearly 500 emergency responses by firefighters.
Currently, 56 incidents are still being resolved, as of Thursday (05 June) morning.
• The most affected areas were the Central Bohemian and Hradec Králové regions.
• The storms caused disruptions to railway services and power outages in several locations.
• Hailstones up to four centimeters in diameter were reported in Nymburk and Hradec regions.
• The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute issued warnings for further severe storms expected through Thursday (05 June), with potential wind gusts up to 100 km/h and heavy rainfall.
