As per reports, a nationwide series of ‘No Kings’ protests is scheduled on Saturday (18 October), in the United States, opposing what organisers describe as authoritarian actions by the Trump administration, including alleged threats to elections, targeting of immigrant families, and reductions in healthcare, education, and environmental protections.

• Over 2,110 protests are reportedly scheduled across the country, making it one of the largest coordinated demonstrations against the administration.
• The movement is coordinated in partnership with national organizations including the American Civil Liberties Union, American Federation of Teachers, Common Defense, Human Rights Campaign, MoveOn, Public Citizen, and National Nurses United.
