As per reports, the Mexican Alliance of Carrier Organizations (AMOTAC) has announced that the national strike of transporters has been scheduled for 15 February, since the federal authorities have not met their demands, such as guaranteeing greater security on the roads.

• The transportation leader assured that the AMOTAC mobilisation will be carried out in the 32 entities of the country.
• The strike is expected to primarily affect highways connecting the State of Mexico with Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, Hidalgo, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Veracruz, Morelos, and Guerrero.
• The protests are scheduled to begin at 0800 hours local time on 15 February.
• Members of AMOTAC from across the country are expected to join the demonstration.
