As per reports, the Argentine oilseed workers’ union (SOEA) has announced a national strike at a major company’s soybean processing plants from Wednesday (12 March) and will continue indefinitely.

• The strike is being co-organized with Federacion Aceitera due to unresolved wage disputes.
• The company reportedly paid only 30% of the wages owed to its employees last month.
