As per reports, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has declared 14 January as a National Day of Action to protest the implementation of new tax laws.

• The association has called for mass mobilization for a peaceful protest and march to the Presidential Villa gate in Abuja on the specified date.
• NANS leadership has expressed strong reservations, calling for the suspension of the law’s implementation.
