As per reports, a breakdown in the Vaitarna Water Pipeline at Tarali, Thane district has led to a decrease in water supply at the Bhandup Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Thus, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will undertake emergency repair works on Thursday and Friday (17-18 October), during which period water supply will be decreased by 10 percent in all parts of Mumbai.
