Movement restrictions lifted in Victoria as of Monday (15 September)

As per reports, police have lifted movement restrictions in Porepunkah and adjoining areas of Myrtleford and Bright as of Monday (15 September) as part of an ongoing search for accused cop killer Dezi Freeman.

• While travel warnings have been lifted, Mount Buffalo National Park will remain closed.
• Victoria Police confirmed that a strong police presence will continue as the search enters its third week, supported by specialist officers from interstate and New Zealand.
• Authorities emphasised the importance of community vigilance, urging residents to immediately report unusual activity or burglaries at normally vacant houses.
