As per reports, a military parade commemorating Colombia’s Independence Day is scheduled for Monday (20 July) in Bogotá, with the route taking place for the first time through the localities of Bosa and Ciudad Bolívar.
The event is planned to begin at 1100 hours (local time) near Gran Plaza El Ensueño shopping center, around Transversal 71C, and conclude in Candelaria La Nueva. Authorities expect road closures along Avenida Villavicencio, between Autopista Sur and Carrera 22B.
• The traffic accident at Avenida Las Américas and Avenida Ciudad de Cali temporarily affected access to Portal Américas and nearby stations. Authorities later reported gradual restoration of normal operations after the incidents were resolved.
• Additional demonstrations and cultural events are also scheduled across Bogotá between Tuesday (14 July) and Monday (20 July), which may create further mobility impacts.
