As per reports, District Institute of Recreation and Sport (IDRD) has scheduled a hike on the Monserrate trail in Bogotá on Sunday (27 September). The route extends upto Basilica of the Fallen Lord.
• People prohibited from climbing include pregnant women, people with a history of heart disease, people diagnosed with hypertension, hypotension, or glycemia, people with asthma, chronic respiratory diseases, or oxygen dependency, people with reduced mobility and people under the influence of alcoholic beverages or psychoactive substances.
• The trail is scheduled from 0500 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) to 1300 hours local time (1800 hours UTC), except for Tuesdays when it is closed for maintenance.
