As per reports, on Tuesday (01 July), one side of the Mewla flyover in Meerut, also known as the Atul Maheshwari Overbridge, will remain closed for 10 nights from 2300 hours to 0600 hours. This is due to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) installing view-cutters under the Namo Bharat alignment project.
The details are as follows:
• The partial road closure affects traffic heading towards Delhi and will remain in place from Tuesday (01 July) to Thursday (10 July) during night-time hours only. Traffic will operate as usual during the daytime.
• The road from Brahmapuri towards Shatabdinagar and Delhi will be diverted nightly between 2300 hours to 0600 hours daily until Thursday (10 July).
• The view-cutter installation work is being carried out below the Namo Bharat station.
