The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Maharashtra on Monday (28 September), as per the District-wise forecast PDF document issued at 1800 hours (local time) on Sunday (27 September).
• Forecast: A yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour for Ghats of Pune, Ghats of Kolhapur, Kolhapur, Ghats of Satara, Sangli, Beed and Dharashiv on Monday (28 September).
• Nowcast: No alert has been issued, valid till 0400 hours (local time) on Monday (28 September).
