As per Central Railway (CR), maintenance blocks will be undertaken on the Central and Harbour lines on Sunday (27 September) for track, signalling, and overhead wire equipment maintenance.
• On the Central line, a block will be implemented on the Matunga-Mulund Up and Down fast lines from 1105 hours (local time) to 1545 hours (local time).
• Down fast line services departing CSMT between 1036 hours (local time) and 1510 hours (local time) will be diverted to the Down slow line at Matunga.
• Services will halt at scheduled stations between Matunga and Mulund and are expected to reach their destinations approximately 15 minutes late.
• Fast services operating beyond Thane will be diverted back to the Down fast line at Mulund.
• Up fast line services departing Thane between 1103 hours (local time) and 1538 hours (local time) will similarly be diverted to the Up slow line at Mulund before returning to the Up fast line at Matunga. These services are also expected to reach their destinations around 15 minutes behind schedule.
• The Khopoli-CSMT local scheduled to depart Khopoli at 1348 hours (local time) will be rescheduled to 1406 hours (local time).
• On the Harbour line, a block will be implemented on the Kurla-Vashi Up and Down lines from 1110 hours (local time) to 1610 hours (local time).
• Down Harbour line services towards Vashi, Belapur and Panvel departing CSMT between 1034 hours (local time) and 1536 hours (local time) will remain suspended during the block.
• Up Harbour line services towards CSMT departing Panvel, Belapur and Vashi between 1017 hours (local time) and 1547 hours (local time) will also remain suspended.
• Special services will operate between CSMT-Kurla-CSMT and Panvel-Vashi-Panvel during the block period.
• Harbour line passengers will be permitted to travel via the Thane-Vashi/Nerul route between 1000 hours (local time) and 1800 hours (local time).
• No block is scheduled on the Trans-Harbour, Uran Port and Western lines, with services expected to operate as per schedule.
