As per reports, the Maryland State House located on 100 State Circle, Annapolis has been placed under lockdown around 1700 hours (local time) on Thursday (29 February), due to reports of a security threat.
• All staff members and personnel in the area were asked to shelter in place by Maryland House Speaker’s office around 1700 hours (local time) Thursday (29 February).
• About 30 minutes later, the staff and other personnel were evacuated from the building by the Maryland State Police, after officers responded to the incident.
