As per reports, a major fire outbreak was reported at a plastic factory in Deer Park, situated to the west of Melbourne, on Saturday (20 July).
• Emergency services, including 80 firefighters, were called to the building on Ballarat Rd in Deer Park at 0730 hours local time on Saturday (20 July).
• The fire was extinguished nearly two hours later at 0920 hours, but smoke continues to be reported. Paramedics were present on the scene, but no hospitalizations or deaths were reported.
• The cause of the fire remains unknown and investigations are expected to be carried out by relevant personnel from the fire and police departments.
