As per reports, a magnitude 7.3 earthquake has been recorded approximately 45 kilometers southeast of San Pedro de Atacama as of the night hours on Thursday (18 July).
• The earthquake struck at a depth of 117.4 kilometers.
• An associated aftershock of magnitude 5.0 has been recorded approximately 39 kilometers southeast of San Pedro de Atacama.
• So far, there are no reports of injuries or major damages.
• A power outage in San Pedro de Atacama has been reported.
