As per reports, a moderate magnitude 4.4 earthquake was reported 98 kilometres away from Calama in the Region de Antofagasta on Thursday (22 October) at 1837 hours local time (2137 hours UTC on 22 October).
Reports indicate that the tremor struck at a depth of 99 kilometres.
