Magnitude 5.4 earthquake reported near Kandahar on Wednesday (20 March)

As per reports, a magnitude 5.4 earthquake has been recorded about 213 km south of Kandahar at 0157 hours (local time) on Wednesday (20 March).

• The earthquake has been recorded at a very shallow depth of 10 km, whose epicenter was located in Reg District, Kandahar.
• The earthquake occurred at a distance of 166 km west of Quetta (Balochistan) and 169 km southwest of Caman (Balochistan), and 228 km southeast of Lashkar Gah (Helmand province).
