Magnitude 4.6 earthquake recorded in Zulia state, Venezuela, on Friday (15 May)

As per reports, a 4.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded approximately 31 kilometres northwest of La Villa del Rosario and approximately 89 kilometres east-northeast of Valledupar, Colombia, in Zulia state, Venezuela, on Friday (15 May).

The earthquake was recorded at 1921 hours local time (2321 hours UTC) on Friday (15 May) at a depth of 10 kilometres, classifying it as a shallow-focus event, and the epicentre was located at 10.570 degrees North, 72.448 degrees West.
