Magnitude 4.5 earthquake recorded in Tarapaca Region, Chile on Friday (19 June)

As per reports, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded approximately 92 kilometres south-southeast of Arica, Chile, and approximately 103 kilometres north-northwest of Iquique, Chile, on Friday (19 June).

The earthquake was recorded at 0213 hours local time (0613 hours UTC) at a depth of 30 kilometres, classifying it as a shallow-focus event, and the epicentre was located at 19.298 degrees South, 70.266 degrees West.
