As per Geoscience Australia, an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 was reported in Leongatha in South Gippsland Shire, about 135 kilometres southeast of Melbourne in Victoria, at around 0149 hours on Friday (09 Friday). No casualties have been reported and no tsunami warning has been issued, as of yet.
