As per reports, according to the National Center of Meteorology, the UAE is expected to experience significant weather changes from Wednesday (27 November) night through Friday (29 November) due to the extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east, in combination with an upper air low-pressure system. These conditions are expected to bring a relatively cold air mass and upper air currents from the west, leading to increased cloud formation across the country.
• From Wednesday (27 November) night, clouds are expected to begin to increase in the western regions, particularly in areas such as Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. By Thursday (28 November), these clouds will spread to the coasts and islands, including Dubai, Sharjah, and Fujairah, with the possibility of rainfall. The weather may improve on Friday (29 November) afternoon, with a noticeable drop in temperatures and a decrease in cloud cover.
• In addition to the cloud cover and rainfall, winds are expected to shift from southeasterly to northeasterly and then turn northwesterly, becoming moderate to active, and at times strong. These winds are expected to stir up dust and dirt, particularly in inland areas like Dubai, Al Ain, and Sharjah, reducing visibility.
• Sea conditions are also anticipated to be severely impacted, with rough to very rough seas in the Arabian Gulf on Thursday (28 November) and Friday (29 November), and moderate to rough seas in the Sea of Oman.
