Libya and China held talk to revitalize 2010 MoU on Thursday (23 January)

As per reports, Libyan Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries, Nasreddin Al-Fazani, met with Chinese Chargé d’Affaires Liu Jian on Thursday (23 January) to discuss revitalizing a 2010 Memorandum of Understanding.

Talks included reactivating the agreement, creating a new executive program, and promoting over 600 untapped Libyan tourist destinations. Key topics also included establishing a direct air route, simplifying visa processes for Chinese tourists, and exploring partnerships with the Asian Development Bank, the Silk Road Fund, and other Chinese initiatives to boost Libya’s tourism and service sectors.
