As per reports, thousands of people commenced a march in Lisbon on Saturday (25 April) to commemorate the 52nd anniversary of the Carnation Revolution.
• The parade began at 1530 hours local time (1430 hours UTC) on Avenida da Liberdade and features participants from all generations. The event serves as both a celebration of freedom and a platform for various social and political demands.
• According to reports, the procession started at Marquês de Pombal Square with tens of thousands of participants heading toward Rossio. The parade is led by iconic Chaimite armored vehicles and includes the heavy involvement of trade unions and labor syndicates.
