As per reports, traffic movement on Thursday (31 July) remained disrupted in Gulmi district in Lumbini Province due to a massive rockslide that occurred a day earlier on Wednesday (30 July) at Gargare and Mulk in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, completely blocking the Kaligandaki Corridor roadway.

The security personnel from the Purthighat police post have been deployed, and clearance operations are currently underway to restore normal traffic flow on Thursday (31 July).

• Moreover, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has forecast moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning at a few places in the hilly regions of Sudurpashchim and Koshi Provinces on Thursday (31 July).
• Certain hilly and Terai regions of Lumbini, Madhesh, and Sudurpashchim Provinces are also forecast to experience moderate rainfall on Thursday (31 July).
