As per reports, on Saturday (19 October), Lagos’ Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources advised people living in low-lying areas and the banks of the Ogun River to move upland as the state is likely to experience more rainfalls in October.

The Lagos State Government raised an alarm of renewed threats of flash floods in the state following the intensity of rainfall experienced in the state on 17 October.
