As per reports, China’s Ministry of Emergency Management informed that all localities will strengthen safety management and control on Sunday (31 December) to prevent accidents.

• The Shanghai police informed that there will be no themed light and shadow shows activities in the Shanghai Bund, North Bund and Little Lujiazui areas on the evening of Sunday (31 December).
• The police in multiple districts in Guangzhou issued notices that no large crowds of any kind would be organized on Sunday in public places including Canton Tower, Taikoo Cang, Huacheng Plaza, Haixinsha Asian Games Park, Beijing Road Business District, Haizhu Square, and Yuexiu Park.
• Meanwhile, Wuhan police also informed that no large-scale mass activities of any kind will be organized in public places such as Jianghanguan Pass, Hankou River Beach and Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street on Sunday.
• Police in many places have ordered that firecrackers, flying of drones, and the sale of sky lanterns and balloons will be prohibited.
