According to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), several regions across Indonesia, including major cities, are likely to experience rainfall on Tuesday (02 July).
• BMKG has issued early weather warnings for provinces such as North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Riau, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, Lampung, Banten, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, and East Nusa Tenggara. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in these areas, indicating potential weather disruptions.
• The forecast extends to other provinces including West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku, West Papua, and Papua. These regions are also expected to experience heavy rainfall.
• BMKG also predicts lighter rainfall in Aceh, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Jambi, West Java, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, and West Nusa Tenggara.
• In particular, major cities in Indonesia that are predicted to experience rainfall on Tuesday (02 July) in various time spans include Denpasar, Bengkulu, Gorontalo, Jambi, Bandung, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Samarinda, Tarakan, Tanjung Pinang, Ambon, Ternate, Mataram, Pekanbaru, Mamuju, Makassar, Kendari, Manado, Palembang and Medan.
