According to reports, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has released the weather forecast for Central Java on Wednesday (03 January). According to BMKG forecasts, the weather conditions in Central Java today will be dominated by rainfall, especially during the day and night. Meanwhile, in the morning, sunny weather will occur in most areas of Central Java.

• The Central Java areas that have the potential for light rainfall today are the Banjarnegara, Blora, Boyolali, Cilacap, Demak areas.
• Then the areas of Purwokerto, Rembang, Salatiga, Semarang, Slawi, Sragen, Surakarta, Ungaran, Jepara, Kebumen, Kendal, Klaten, Mungkid, Pati and Purbalingga.
• Rainfall with higher intensity is predicted to occur in the Kajen, Karanganyar, Kudus, Magelang, Pemalang, Purwodadi, Sukoharjo, Temanggung, Wonogiri and Wonosobo areas.
