According to reports, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rainfall will increase from the end of July to August 2024. A number of points in the Jakarta area have the potential to be impacted by flooding.
Jakarta is still said to be in the dry season as the amount of rainfall in one season (10 days) has not yet reached 50 millimeters and is followed by the next two seasons.
