As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) recorded that a batch of thunderstorms along with heavy rainfall and strong winds have been witnessed in the Huntsville-Madisonville areas and is moving northwest along I-45, impacting Centerville, Buffalo, and Fairfield through Tuesday (27 August) afternoon.
• The NWS has issued a special weather statement as well for strong thunderstorm that will impact portions of south-central McLennan, northeastern Bell and west central Falls Counties through Tuesday (27 August) evening.
• The locations under the special weather statement include Gainesville, Bowie, Sherman, Paris, Decatur, Denton, Fort Worth, Granbury, Waxahachie, Cleburne, Dallas, Sulphur Springs, Greenville, Emory, Canton, Tyler, Athens, Palestine, Corsicana, Fairfield, Centerville, Hearne, Cameron, Temple, Waco, Gatesville, Lampasas, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Stephenville, Comanche, Graham, Jacksboro, and Mineral Wells.
• The forecast adds that areas along I-35 from Waco to Temple, & I-45 from Fairfield to Corsicana can expect occasional gusty winds and heavy rain through 1900 hours local time.
