As per reports, a weak storm system is forecast to bring light rainfall and snowfall to southern Colorado and northern New Mexico on Tuesday (18 February).
• Arctic air will move into eastern New Mexico overnight, bringing extremely cold temperatures through Wednesday (19 February).
• The cold front is forecast to bring temperatures below freezing to east-central and northeast New Mexico, with wind chills reaching as low as minus 15 degrees Fahrenheit in Clayton on Wednesday (19 February) morning.
• Scattered rainfall and snowfall are forecast to occur across the northern half of New Mexico on Tuesday (18 February), but accumulations are forecast to remain light.
• Warmer weather is expected to return to eastern New Mexico on Thursday (20 February), with temperatures gradually rising statewide.
