As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) issued an updated weather alert at 1222 hours (local time) on Tuesday (15 April), for McKean and Potter counties in Pennsylvania.
• The alert is in effect until 1315 hours (local time) on Tuesday (15 April) and warns of strong thunderstorms.
• Storms are producing wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour and hail measuring approximately 0.25 inches (pea-sized).
• The NWS reported that a thunderstorm was located over Port Allegany and moving east at a speed of 50 miles per hour.
• Locations under the alert include: Port Allegany, Harrison Valley, Ski Denton Ski Area, Crosby, Smethport, Roulette, Ulysses, Kinzua Bridge State Park, Genesee, Denton Hill State Park, Keating Summit, Coudersport, Betula, Oswayo, and Sweden Valley.
