As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) has issued a weather forecast indicating continued cold weather in Brazil, with potential heavy rainfall expected in the northern region on Monday (02 June).
• Affected areas include Marajó, Baixo Amazonas, Northern Roraima, Northern Amapá, Northern Amazonense, Southern Roraima, Central Amazonense, Southern Amapá, and Southwestern Amazonense.
• Rainfall is expected to range between 20 and 30 mm/h or up to 50 mm/day, with strong winds of 40-60 km/h.
• There is a low risk of power outages, falling tree branches, flooding, and lightning strikes.
