• Rainfall is anticipated on Tuesday (03 September) particularly in the coastal area of El Salvador affecting La Libertad, La Unión, Acajutla, Sonsonate, Zacatecoluca, Usulután, and San Miguel. The eastern part of the country may experience rain and storms during the night, with these conditions likely spreading to the central region in areas of San Salvador, Santa Tecla, Soyapango, Mejicanos, Ilopango, San Vicente, and Cojutepeque by night time.
• Environment Minister Fernando López announced the potential for increased rainfall starting Thursday (05 September) driven by the influence of a tropical wave. According to the Ministry, these rains and storms are expected to generate gusty winds and electrical activity. Further details are yet to be reported.
