As per reports, the South Korean Meteorological Administration warned that Jeju Island will experience strong winds and heavy rainfall accompanied by lightning from Friday (12 June) to Saturday (13 June),

The authorities also estimated that the first typhoon “Butterfly” formed on Wednesday (11 June), will not directly land in South Korea but will carry a large amount of tropical moisture, causing heavy rainfall across South Korea.
