As per reports, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for much of central and western Massachusetts, from 2000 hours on Wednesday (04 December) to 1000 hours local time on Thursday (05 December).

Snow accumulation of two to five inches are expected, with localized accumulation of six inches in the highest terrain.

• Also, a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service, which is valid between 0700 hours to 2200 hours local time on Thursday (05 December) for Berkshire County.
• West winds between 15 and 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.
