The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following weather warnings for the districts of Karnataka from Friday to Sunday (26-28 September):

• On Friday (26 September), the yellow alert for thunderstorm lightning and squalls has been issued in all districts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, except in Udupi, Uttar Kannada, and Dakshin Kannada.
• Moreover, as per the IMD nowcast issued at 0700 hours (local time) and valid till 1000 hours on Friday (26 September), a yellow alert for light rainfall along with thunderstorms is active in Bidar, Yadgir, Gulbarga, Belgaum, Uttar Kannada, Shimoga, Udupi, Chikmangalur, Dakshin Kannada, and Kodagu.
• On Saturday and Sunday (27-28 September), a yellow alert has been issued in all the districts, including Bengaluru Urban and Bengaluru Rural.
