The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls across all districts on Friday (31 October), as per the forecast.

Additionally, as per IMD nowcast issued at 0400 hours(local time) valid till 0700 hours (local time) on Friday (31 October), the following alerts are active:

• Red alert: Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and surface winds less than 40 km/h for Porbandar, Junagarh, and Gir Somnath.
• Orange alert: Moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and surface winds less than 40 km/h for Dangs, Navsari, Valsad, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and Devbhoomi Dwarka.
• Yellow alert: Light rainfall for all remaining districts.
