The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued various weather warnings for heavy rainfall across parts of Karnataka on Monday (21 October).

• Orange alert for very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning has been issued in Shimoga, and Chikmagalur.
• Additionally, a yellow alert for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning has been issued in Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag, Uttar Kannada, Haveri, Bellary, Udupi, Dakshin Kannada, Kodagu, Hassan, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Chikaballabur, Kolar, Bengaluru Urban, and Bengaluru Rural.
• On Monday (21 October), the Bengaluru Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory regarding slow-moving conditions caused by waterlogging. Key locations affected include:
– Vaddarpalya Junction (towards the Airport
– Kode Junction
– Windsor Manor Railway Bridge on Sankey Road (towards PG Halli)
– PG Halli Millers Road Underbridge
