As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department, the following weather conditions are expected in Himachal Pradesh from Sunday (31 March) to Monday (01 April).

• On Sunday (31 March), orange alerts have been issued for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorms in the districts of Chamba, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Mandi, Shimla, Kullu, Lahul, and Spiti. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorms in Solan and Sirmaur districts.
• On Monday (01 April), a yellow alert have been issued for thunderstorms, and lightning in the districts of Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, and Kullu.
