Hoax bomb call received at Delhi Airport on Wednesday (24 January)

As per reports, the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi was put on high alert on Wednesday (24 January) after a bomb threat call was received for a SpiceJet Darbhanga to Delhi flight. However, during the inquiry, it turned out to be a hoax call.

The flight landed at the airport at 1804 hours. The passengers were deboarded and the aircraft was parked in isolation bay for screening while security agencies carried out a thorough search of the aircraft to eliminate the possibility of explosives on the plane.
