As per reports, the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi was put on high alert on Wednesday (24 January) after a bomb threat call was received for a SpiceJet Darbhanga to Delhi flight. However, during the inquiry, it turned out to be a hoax call.

The flight landed at the airport at 1804 hours. The passengers were deboarded and the aircraft was parked in isolation bay for screening while security agencies carried out a thorough search of the aircraft to eliminate the possibility of explosives on the plane.
