According to reports, Hefazat-e-Islam has called for a mass rally in Dhaka on 03 May.
• The rally is called to demand a ban on Awami League (AL) as a political party and commemorate the alleged 2013 massacre of Hefazat activists on orders from the then Awami League government.
• Additionally, the group would also hold a national council in June amid the participation of all its district and city-level representatives.
