As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) issued a heavy rainfall warning for parts of Brazil through Tuesday (22 April) morning.

• A yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued for parts of Pará, Ceará, Bahia, Pernambuco, Tocantins, Maranhão, Rio Grande do Norte, Mato Grosso, Acre, Piauí, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraíba, Rondônia, Roraima, Goiás, Amazonas, Amapá, Sergipe, and the Federal District. Rainfall between 20 and 30 mm/h or up to 50 mm/day, along with strong wind gusts of up to 60 km/h, is expected.
• The alerts will remain active until 1000 hours (local time) on Tuesday (22 April).
